Many tenants find the moving process stressful, simply because there is so much to remember! We want your move to go successfully, so we've created these checklists to equip you with the right tools. Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Your security deposit is due at application approval. Your first rent payment is due by move-in day. Check the amounts with us in advance to avoid any complications.

Move-in Date & Inspection

Your lease signing and move-in will be scheduled upon application approval. You'll have time for a thorough move-in inspection on move-in day.

Utilities

As a tenant in one of our homes, you must put all utility accounts in your name. Do this immediately after signing the lease so you don't lose your utility access.

Refer to the terms of your lease if you have questions about the move-out date.

Property Condition

Before you hand in the keys for your rental, please take the necessary measures to clean & repair the home:

• Rental Cleaning:  Your home should be ready for another tenant immediately following your departure. Carefully clean every room in the property, taking care to sanitize areas like the kitchen and bathrooms. There should be no personal items or garbage left behind.

• Landscaping & Outdoor Areas:  Does your rental have outdoor space where you are responsible for general upkeep? Please take care of lawn care and other maintenance chores once more before departing.

• Repairs:  Finally, if there is any damage in your rental home, please resolve these problems. For bigger problems, work with our team to find an amicable resolution.

Security Deposit

Your security deposit is not available for your last month's rent! Instead, these funds protect against any damage left behind after your departure.

If we identify new damage, we will make repairs and charge you for the associated expenses. The remainder of the deposit will be returned within 30 days of your departure.
